Jeff Sanford Co-Owner

Jeff, born and raised in Baton Rouge, found his true passion for construction at an early age. He graduated from LSU with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. After college Jeff moved to Lafayette to pursue a career in the commercial construction industry with one of the largest and most respected contractors in the state and region. During this time, Jeff gained extensive project management experience in large-scale healthcare, recreational, and general building construction. After 10 years of working in commercial construction, Jeff decided to follow his true passion for residential construction and started LHA Construction with his business partner Brad Markerson.

Jeff and his wife, Katie, have been proud residents of Lafayette since 2010 and have three lovely children, Lily, Annie, and Andrew.

Brad Markerson Co-Owner

Brad Markerson is a native of Franklin, La. Brad has worked in the insurance industry since 2002 and has worked in several states. In 2008 Brad moved to Lafayette and opened the Brad Markerson Agency to serve the residents of Acadiana. During Brad’s 20-plus years in insurance, he gained a great passion and appreciation for quality construction. Understanding the need for true custom quality construction in Acadiana, Brad partnered with Jeff Sanford in 2019 to open LHA construction.

Brad and his wife Rachel have two children: Hunter and Lanie. During his free time, Brad enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, golfing, and hunting.
